About Peter
Peter Brunt is a highly experienced counsellor with over 30 years of practice, dedicated to supporting individuals through a wide range of personal and professional challenges. His background in adult education led him to a career in counselling helping clients navigate issues related to mental health, relationships, career development, and personal growth.
Peter holds a Master of Counselling from Massey University and a Certificate in Imago Relationship Therapy. He is a registered member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC). His practice is guided by the NZAC Code of Ethics, ensuring a safe, confidential, and professional environment for all clients. To maintain the highest standards of care, he engages in regular clinical supervision with an accredited supervisor.
Peter provides a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. His approach integrates a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs, whether in counselling, career and life coaching, or personal development.
